Inputs:
The vessel's Light Ship weight and centroids, vessel length,
vessel condition being evaluated (i. e. ballast departure, full loaded
departure, 50% load arrival, 10% consumables arrival condition, etc.)
The following is required for each item on board:
Weights and centroid information for passengers, crew, dry
consumables (provisions and stores) on board.
Weights and centroid information for cargo (dry and liquid)
on board. Free surface information is
required for the tanks carrying liquid cargo.
Weights and centroid information for consumable liquids
carried (fuel, water, etc.). Free
surface information is required for the tanks carrying consumable liquids.
After the above information is entered use the total weight
obtained as a basis for the following data input:
Input the following Curves of Form data: Draft, LCB, LCF, KMt and KML
Input the Maximum Allowable KG, or VCG, this is an optional
input, but required if you want to compute the stability Margin
Outputs:
The total weight and centroids of the vessel in the
condition being evaluated. This includes
all fluid weights present.
The total free surface effect for all the tanks involved.
